Do you take the design through Civil Defense approval?
Yes. We design to Civil Defense requirements from the first drawing, and our engineer signs a pre-inspection record before the authority arrives. The Civil Defense approval file is part of what you receive. How design works
Which standards do you design and test to?
NFPA 10, 13, 14, 20, 25, 72, 96 and 2001, SBC 801 and Saudi Civil Defense requirements.
Which systems do you install?
Fire detection and alarm, aspirating smoke detection, fire water networks and sprinklers, fire pumps, gas and aerosol suppression, water mist, foam, wet chemical suppression for kitchens, oxygen reduction, and emergency lighting and evacuation. What each one involves
What do we receive at handover?
Signed test records, the handover file and an asset register. A detection system comes programmed, with its cause-and-effect matrix; a water system comes with witnessed pressure and flow tests and its test certificates.
Can you work while the building is in use?
Most of the buildings we work in never close. In a hospital we maintain beside occupied wards without nuisance alarms; in an office we time the visit with the tenant; in a metro station we test outside the public zone. The twelve markets we work in
Maintenance and compliance
Will you take over a system someone else installed?
Yes, through the retrofit route: we survey the existing systems, list the gaps to current code, carry out the upgrade works, and then hand the system over to an annual maintenance contract.
What does a maintenance contract include?
There are three packages. Inspect covers the statutory minimum: inspection and test to NFPA 25 and 72, certificate renewal management, and an asset register with tagging. Maintain adds planned preventive visits and corrective repairs from a priced deficiency list. Assure adds emergency call-out, a digital inspection record per asset and an annual compliance report. How do we keep track of inspections and certificates?
Every asset is tagged and has its own record. Inspections, certificates and renewal dates are held in one digital record, so nothing lapses unnoticed, and every visit ends with a report you can show the authority. How compliance works
